If you promote betting in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, India, Bangladesh or Pakistan, you have almost certainly been offered both 1xPartners and Melbet Affiliates. They look like twins: weekly Tuesday payouts, a $30 minimum, the same CIS-rooted product, similar creatives and even the same "more than four new users" payout rule. Choosing between them comes down to a handful of differences that this comparison lays out — and to how each brand converts your particular audience.

For the live side-by-side data card with winner badges, open our 1xPartners vs Melbet comparison page. This guide adds the context behind each row.

Quick answer: Melbet Affiliates has the better default terms — a 25% RevShare floor written into its agreement, a 3% sub-affiliate rate, per-minute statistics and a cleaner reputation. 1xPartners has the stronger brand and more local payout routes. Small channels usually earn more at Melbet from day one; conversion-led affiliates in Nigeria, Ghana and Bangladesh often earn more at 1xPartners despite the lower starting rate.

Commission: the floor is the real difference

Both programs advertise around 40% RevShare and both will pay it to affiliates with volume. The difference is where you start.

  • Melbet's published affiliate agreement sets a default of 25% of net profit. That is your rate on day one without asking anyone.
  • 1xPartners' official FAQ states 15–40% "depending on geography and number of referred players", and new affiliates commonly report a 20% starting rate that can fall to 15% for low-volume accounts.

For an affiliate generating $3,000 of monthly NGR, that gap is $750 versus $600 per month before either program moves your rate. It closes once you negotiate, and 1xPartners is known to move quickly for affiliates with 20+ first-time depositors a month — but if you are small, Melbet pays more from the start.

On CPA, the reported numbers favour 1xPartners for stronger GEOs ($150–250 per FTD in directories) while Melbet's network listings show a wide $17–80 range with Bangladesh at the bottom. Both are negotiated and both depend heavily on your market, so treat those as ranges to open a conversation with, not offers. The commission calculator will show you the break-even point between a CPA offer and RevShare for your retention numbers.

Melbet also lists CPL and CPI (cost per lead and per install) alongside RevShare, CPA and Hybrid, which matters if you run app-install campaigns in India or Bangladesh where the operator's app is the main product.

Payouts: identical calendars, identical traps

Here the programs are practically the same, so the traps are the same:

  1. Tuesday payouts for Monday–Sunday, $30 minimum. Melbet additionally reports twice-weekly CPA payments.
  2. More than four new users per period. Miss it and the balance — including any negative balance — rolls to the next period. Melbet writes this into its terms; for 1xPartners it is widely reported.
  3. Negative carryover. Both confirm that a losing week for the house is carried into your next period. If that is a deal-breaker, neither program is for you; Negative Carryover Explained lists which programs reset monthly.
  4. Verification periods of up to 90 days. Both reserve the right to suspend payouts while traffic is checked. Melbet writes 90 days into its terms; 1xPartners holds of similar length are reported.

The practical difference is payment methods. 1xPartners' player-account route gives African and South Asian affiliates M-Pesa, bKash, UPI and Paytm payouts (reported), while Melbet's list is bank, e-wallets and crypto. If you want a local wallet without a crypto exchange in between, 1xPartners has the edge; if you already withdraw in USDT, it makes no difference. Betting Affiliate Payments Explained covers the routes and fees.

Sub-affiliate programs: 3% beats 2%, but both are small

Melbet pays 3% of the revenue generated by affiliates you refer; 1xPartners pays 2%. On a network of recruited affiliates producing $10,000 of combined commission a month, that is $300 versus $200 — meaningful, but both trail the 5% offered by 1win, Megapari and 4rabet. If recruiting other affiliates is central to your plan, read Sub-Affiliate Programs Explained before choosing on this criterion alone.

Tools and reporting

Melbet's statistics update every minute against 1xPartners' every 30 minutes, and Melbet's promo library covers 60+ languages against 1xPartners' 69. In practice both provide localized landing pages, app links and banner sets for every market we cover. Melbet's near-real-time reporting is genuinely useful for paid-traffic affiliates testing creatives; content affiliates will not notice the difference.

Reputation and risk

This is the least comfortable section for 1xPartners. Its public record includes 11 complaints on AskGamblers, a 3.2/5 Trustpilot score, GPWA threads about payment delays and unresponsive managers in 2025–2026, and a "predatory" classification from AffiliateGuardDog. Melbet's reviews are more positive: it won multiple program awards in 2025–2026 and its complaint history is thinner, although reviewers still noted payment-delay reports in 2025 and its terms permit the same 90-day verification window.

Neither program's licence position is spotless. Melbet holds local licences in Nigeria and Kenya; 1xBet holds local licences in several markets (reported), but both operate offshore elsewhere. For South Africa specifically, check each program's local licensing status before you commit, and see the South Africa programs page for licensed alternatives.

Which converts better in your GEO?

Terms decide how much you earn per player; conversion decides how many players you get. Reported experience from affiliates in our markets:

MarketBrand affiliates typically report converting betterWhy
Nigeria1xBetHighest unaided brand awareness; local licence
KenyaClose; 1xBet slightly aheadBoth licensed; M-Pesa routes matter — compare with the M-Pesa payout programs
Ghana1xBetBrand recall from sponsorships
IndiaMelbet or 1xBet depending on nicheBoth push cricket; Melbet's app campaigns (CPI) are a differentiator
Bangladesh1xBetUbiquity; Melbet CPA reported at only $17/FTD
PakistanSimilarBoth offshore; test both

These are patterns, not rules. The only way to know for your audience is to split traffic for two to four weeks and compare depositors per 1,000 clicks. Use the UTM builder so the split is measurable.

Creatives, apps and landing pages

Both programs give you what you need to promote in our markets; the differences are small but worth knowing.

  • Landing pages: both offer localized pages per country and sport. 1xPartners' pages lean on the brand and bonus; Melbet's often lead with odds boosts and accumulator promos. Test both against the same audience.
  • Apps: in India, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Kenya most deposits happen in the operator's Android app. Both programs track app installs from your link, and Melbet's CPI model lets you be paid per install if that is your funnel.
  • Banners and video: both supply banner packs and short video creatives; Melbet's per-minute statistics make creative testing faster for paid campaigns.
  • Deep links: both support links to specific events and markets — useful for match-day posts on Telegram and WhatsApp.

A 30-day split test that settles it

Terms and reputation are the same for everyone; conversion is specific to your audience, so measure it.

  1. Create tagged links for each brand per placement — pinned post, daily tips, bio link — with the UTM builder.
  2. Alternate brands by day or by post type rather than running one for two weeks and the other for two weeks; football fixtures skew any two-week window.
  3. Track three numbers per brand: registrations per 1,000 clicks, depositors per registration, and NGR per depositor after 30 days (visible in both dashboards).
  4. Weight by terms: multiply each brand's NGR per depositor by your RevShare rate there (25% at Melbet by default versus your 1xPartners rate) to get commission per depositor.
  5. Decide, then negotiate: send the winner 70% of your placements and use the results to ask both managers for a better rate. Affiliates who show a working split test tend to get faster rate reviews.

Whatever the split shows, keep both accounts. Programs change terms, pause payouts during verification and occasionally close accounts; a second brand that already converts for your audience is insurance you will be glad of.

Verdict: who should pick which

Choose Melbet Affiliates if…

  • You are starting out and want the higher default RevShare (25%) without negotiating.
  • You recruit other affiliates (3% vs 2%).
  • You run app-install or lead campaigns and want CPI/CPL options.
  • Reputation and reporting speed matter to you.

Choose 1xPartners if…

  • Your audience already knows 1xBet — conversion outweighs a few points of RevShare.
  • You need local-wallet payouts via the player-account route.
  • You have the volume to negotiate 35–40% quickly.

Do both if… you can send comparable traffic to each for a month. Most established affiliates in our markets end up promoting both and letting the depositor data choose their primary placement.

Whichever you pick, put your agreed rate in writing, log every traffic source, and expect the four-new-users rule to shape your payout rhythm. For a wider field of options, our roundup of the best betting affiliate programs compares all 20 programs we track.
